Everything about this next wedding was #OMG!
First of all, Mary and Mike are both the sweetest people you will ever meet. The first time I talked to Mary on the phone, I knew we were already besties! From chatting about frenchies and OU (go bobcats!) to gushing about all the wedding deets, I knew they were 100% my kind of couple.
The weekend was already off to an interesting start as we had a massive snow storm blow through the day of their wedding! No worries though! We started off at The Hilton Cleveland and had a great time snapping candids of all the getting ready details and looking out over the snowy city. The view from the Rockefeller suite is AMAZING and such a beautiful backdrop for our morning. My favorite part was finding cool ways to photograph Mary’s stunning dress and jewelry (not to mention her sparkly shoes!).
After everyone was ready, we made it over to the Cleveland Museum of Art for their intimate ceremony in the museum’s atrium. I loved that the ceremony site is surrounded by lush greenery; there’s even a bamboo walkway! Surrounded by their closest family and friends, they said I do in a lovely, brief ceremony followed by bridal party photos and drinks before dinner.
The centerpieces and reception decor were and absolute vision, as was the cake made by Pat Hoose! Pat is a famous cake decorator in the Cleveland area (see her work here) and her perfect, granite and gold leaf cake for Mary and Mike was an absolute masterpiece. After some heartfelt toasts and yummy desserts, the night kept going with dancing as the band played on.
Thanks again for having us, Mary and Mike!
