This next wedding was so unique and special for so many reasons! First of all, Marley and Nathan are seriously the sweetest people you will ever meet. Not only did they welcome us and treat us like part of the family; they also could not have been more thoughtful and intentional with their beautiful wedding plans. We Skyped about a month before their wedding to go over final details and so I could meet their little wedding planner --- Marley’s daughter, Alice! She even had a little toy camera to show me during our call (I know, so stinkin’ cute!). From our initial and final conversation, It was very very clear that their wedding was all about bringing together those they loved most. Their family and friends joined together to celebrate their love, and every detail was so meaningful. From including Alice in every part of the planning to Nathan presenting Alice with a special necklace during the ceremony, their day was so special and momentous.
We started downtown at the Cleveland Westin where Marley, Alice, and her bridesmaids were getting ready. Wearing an incredible white dress, gold shoes, and soft waves in her hair, Marley was an absolute vision! She also totally rocked red lipstick and my bubble umbrella as we waited for the trolley to take us downtown to the venue, Punchbowl Social! Alice was such a doll and kept asking, “Do you like my pretty dress? Do you think you could take my picture?” over and over again. Cue all the awwwwwwws!
If you haven’t been to Punchbowl yet, you must go soon! Their food is amazing and it has such a chill, artsy vibe right in the heart of The Flats. With its stunning rooftop view of the Main Avenue Bridge, cozy fire pit, and its super fun 2nd floor bar and billiards room, there’s much relaxing and fun to be had! That’s exactly what we did after arriving to the ceremony as everyone gathered by the indoor fireplace for their ceremony. The teal splash of color on the walls and white balloons complemented the entire room, giving it a very happy and intimate feel!
Afterward, family and friends enjoyed the billiards room and rooftop for drinks and ice cream sundaes! My favorite part of the day, was Marley and Nathan’s first dance! Not only was it on the rooftop; they also included Alice in their special dance (cue the awwwwws again!). It was such a sweet moment and seriously was #allthefeels!
Thanks again Marley, Nathan, and Alice for having me share in your special day!
A special thanks to the wedding team that made Marley and Nathan's day possible!
