Marie + Brad | Cleveland, Ohio Wedding Photography
Marie and I met in middle school when our brothers were on the same baseball team. When she asked me (now, more than 15 years later) to take her wedding photos to her college sweetheart, Brad, I absolutely said, "yes!"
Their ceremony took place in Northeast, Ohio, in Marie's parents' backyard on one of the most perfect, summer afternoons. What I loved most about their wedding, was that they chose her home as the place where they would become man and wife. Home is so much more than just a place, it's a symbol of safety and comfort, and everything about their day echoed this sentiment. From getting ready in her childhood bedroom, to saying "I do" next to the lake she spent summers swimming, it was truly a very meaningful and beautiful choice!
Marie and Brad's wedding portraits were nothing short of spectacular. We adventured around the backyard, took in the beautiful, summer light, and had a great time laughing while we did it! My favorite photo was taken near the forest line; I was hunched in a bush to get a soft effect around the photo's edge (totally worth it!). With Marie's breathtaking mermaid style dress and Brad's stylish, gray tux, they totally rocked it!
