This past January when I started making a list of places for my couples’ sessions, the first place to pop in my mind was Voinovich Bicentennial Park on Cleveland’s waterfront. Not only does it have fabulous views of the Cleveland skyline and Lake Erie, it also features one of the new, iconic Cleveland signs! I love that locals and tourists can take their photos as a little souvenir from the downtown area. Anytime I come across one of the signs, there are always tons of people lined up for a photo!
EriKa and Jesse’s session was a blast! We started right along the lake’s edge, taking photos as they strolled along the water. Even though it was a scorcher, the shade from the trees and the lake’s breeze provided the backdrop for a gorgeous session! We then headed over to the William G. Mather boat for some candid shots with it in the background -- what I love about Cleveland is how versatile it is for photography, especially since we do have such a magnificent water feature!
Finally, my favorite part was taking photos next to the Cleveland sign and having EriKa and Jesse do a dip and kiss --- they totally nailed it and it’s just so beautiful with the city skyline in the background. :) Thanks for such an amazing time, you two!
