The first time I talked with Anna and Netta about their big day, it was like talking to friends I had known my whole life! They are the sweetest, most down-to-earth couple, and photographing their big day was such an honor. You can just tell from the photos how much their friends and family care and love them, and together, they make quite an amazing pair.
The day could not have been more spectacular; the sun was out, the breeze was light, and the hillsides of the Berkshires looked amazing in the lateness of summer. We started the day with Anna and Netta’s closest friends and family taking fun portraits around the farm grounds. If you haven’t been to Gedney (which, you totally should visit!), it’s truly a haven for all things beautiful! From the giant red barn to the hillside where Anna and Netta vowed to be together forever, everywhere you look is stunning.
We especially loved the courtyard between the main lodging and venue; the leafy trees, grapevines, and stone pillar entrances make it a wedding photographer’s dream! Another really special moment, was when Anna and Netta did their ketubah signing in the main lodge. After the signing, song, (and many hugs!), it was time for the ceremony!
Once all of the guests arrived, everyone walked up the hillside to the ceremony site surrounded by fields and views of the surrounding mountains. The ceremony was so beautiful, especially the seven blessings read by Anna and Netta’s family and friends. After the glass was broken, beneath the beautifully decorated chuppah, they officially became wife and wife!
The rest of the day was such a blast! After cocktail hour, it was time for dinner and dancing. The reception space was an absolute vision with twinkling string lights, swoon-worthy floral arrangements on each table, and a rockin’ photo booth! We had such a wonderful time capturing all of the fun and left the wedding already gushing over our memories of the day.
Thank you, Anna and Netta, for having us share in your special day! We loved it!
A special thanks to the wedding team that made Anna and Netta's day possible!
