Last fall, I went down to beautiful Lenox. Massachusetts to take photos for an intimate wedding day at The Federal House Inn. I grew to know both Erin and Jonathan quite well that day, and their wedding was absolutely magical (we’re talkin’ paper florals, felted colorful garland, and bicycle baskets magical! See the awesomeness here.) My favorite part about their whole celebration was how much fun they had as a couple. From hilarious little jokes to just chatting about what they would be eating for dinner the next night, they define what it means to be totally in tune with the one you’re with. So, last month when Erin reached about about doing a maternity shoot for their first baby, I was ECSTATIC to reunite with them for more photos!
The best part? We did an in-home session for their special shoot and even got a few sweet snaps with their adorable cat, Abner! I love doing in-home sessions because they feature you in your natural habitat instead of a location you’ve never been to. They’re also just so cozy, comfortable, and fun! Erin, Jonathan, and Abner totally rocked theirs as we went from different rooms, snapping candids and laughing at how much Abner loved his kitty treats. Congratulations to the happy parents-to-be! I can’t wait to meet your little one!
