A lot of the family sessions I do end up being in the spring or summer when the weather is warmer, but I have to admit, I loveeeee doing wintertime family sessions. A huge reason is using the snow as a fun and happy addition for photos (you know, besides cute scarves, hats, and mittens!)! Also, snowball fights make great action shots. :)

I met the Costa Family in Saratoga Springs for their family session, and luckily it had just snowed the day before. We had a lovely time walking around the park, playing with snowballs, and getting some really adorable photos of their family of three together. If you ever have the chance to try a wintertime session, go for it! It's nice to have some framed photos from every season instead of always doing the same one. Enjoy!
